Hey,
I use adsens myself, but I think you can only make a lot of money if your site has a lot of visitors. The money you get per click, I think depends on what ad it was. Because for some specific words you get paid more for.

Hey,
I think the average is somewhere around 10 cents per click, but the greatest feature of adsense, is that you can costumise all the colors of the ad (that is if you choose to display text-ads), so it does not mess up your site layout. Like they did on this site, I think the site and the ads go well together.
