Okay, here a small howto prevent getting hacked:
1. first decide wheter its better to learn how to write own (savely) code or its better for you to use an existing script (so you have to rely on that systems). Own scripts can be very savely when you know how to get that savety. Otherwise they can also be insecurely. The advantage is: nobody knows your source
2. inform about software you want to install. PHPKit, webspell and some others have the reputation to be instable / insecurely
3. if you found a aptly software search for problems of users, who used that software, too. make sure to learn of their failures
4. enjoy your software |
