| Well i don't hv much knowledge of MySql stil i wanna ask that is there any reason for it to go down? i mean is it b'coz of too many connections or what? |

| what's the reason for the constant downtimes..is the server overloading? if you can provide an error log or possibly more detailed stats of errors on the server I'm sure I can find a remedy. Ensure that you have the latest version of apache installed as it cures a lot of the sql overload troubles that past versions were bugged with. Maybe update the ACL list on the router if you're using one for the servers..it'll help keep out hackers and stop ddos or remote scripting attacks (if that's the problem). |

Funpic is a free host. Therefor they do not have to guarantee uptime. You are getting their service for free. So stop complaining. If you want a FREE PHP host, this is something you have to deal with. Otherwise I suggest you go find a PHP host that can guarantee your uptime. But you will not find one with unlimited bandwidth. Hosting php sites can often get expensive. If you are looking for a good PAY host check out oneandone.com, they have affordable rates, but VERY limited bandwidth. I am sure the techs working on the servers will get the problem ironed out. In the meantime go easy on Ven, he is a bit understaffed. I have been on Finpic.org for a while with multiple sites and this is really the worst it has ever been, so be patient and it will get fixed.
