The quake logo shape is actually really easy to reproduce in PS, but I spent ages trying to get the grungy look. |

that can also be done pretty simple.
here is a really small tutorial on how to do that
step 1: get the eraser tool
step 2: select a grunge brush as an eraser
step 3: make the brush smaller
step 4: start erasing small parts at the edges
step 5: enjoy your end result  |
